Reading Challenge (Years 1-6)

Westbridge's wonderful Reading Challenge has resumed once again this academic year. If your child reads at home each day and you sign their reading record five times a week, your child will receive a gold star on their laminated bookmark (which remains in school).

Once your child has 8 gold stars, they bring their completed bookmark to the Senior Leadership Office and will have the exciting opportunity to select a brand new book to read and keep forever. Every child is able to begin the whole process again with a new bookmark.

New reading records were shared with children at the beginning of September. Please help your child to reach their full potential by encouraging them to read for at least 20 minutes per day at home whenever possible.
