On Friday 21st March, the Year 5 Debating Team travelled into central London to compete in the STEP Debating semi finals. The semi final was held at the incredible Royal Bank of Canada building in Bishopsgate. Before the debate, the team admired the London skyline. Westbridge Academy's Year 5 debating team have achieved another school first by reaching the STEP Debating Championship semi finals.  Four academies remain at this stage: Beddington Park Academy, David Livingstone Academy, Telscombe Cliffs Academy and Westbridge Academy.  The team are eagerly awaiting the next topic that they will debate.
